Ted Bradley is pushing the boundaries of porcelain. The Samsara Collection features meticulously handcrafted white porcelain rings inlaid with warm LEDs and married to precision metal components. After two master mold makers told him it would be difficult or impossible, he embarked on a year-long journey to create the world’s first set of porcelain light rings. Each ring takes 5 weeks and several hundred steps to make. The result is visually stunning, one-of-a-kind light sculptures that are unlike anything else. 
Suspended from a single steel canopy that was flushed installed and powder coated to our ceiling color, Ted's Mono Pendant Series - Set of 5 Column, custom arranged to work with the sweep of our curved stair, provides the perfect focal point to this grand double-height entrance. The classic form of the rings, perfectly diffused light quality, stark contrast of the black and white materials, and tension of the objects hovering in space, creates a dramatic statement without overwhelming this minimalist design.
