Empty nesters found opportunity to leave their nest during the pandemic and transform their Upper West Side three-bedroom into the urban oasis they had been seeking. Perched on top of the tallest building for blocks, floor-to-ceiling glass walls provide sweeping views of the Hudson, lower Manhattan, and East River; the life of the city becoming a dramatic distant backdrop for the serene escape the clients wanted.
Finishes subtly mix earth-toned glass and metals with soft textures of woods and figured stone slabs - a sophisticated urban take on an escape into nature. Custom oak paneling produced by Bilotta Kitchens wraps the Foyer to conceal added coat storage and unfolds throughout the apartment into his and hers studies, bedroom, and bathroom millwork.
Designed with Bilotta Architecture’s interior design partner; Innato Interios.
